Paul Miller

Paul Miller, professor of exercise science, was recently awarded fellow status by the American College of Sports Medicine, the leading professional organization for exercise science.

Kimberly Duggins, a senior Honors Fellow and psychology major mentored by Amy Overman, psychology, has been selected to present her undergraduate research, "Behavioral and electrophysiological effects of schema activation on memory for crime information in older and younger adults, " to members of Congress in Washington, D.C., in April.

Paul Miller, professor of exercise science and director of the undergraduate research program, has been elected to serve a three-year term as a councilor in the Undergraduate Research Program Director's Division of the Council on Undergraduate Research.

Paul C. Miller, professor of exercise science, and Eric E. Hall, associate professor of exercise science, have published an article, “The Influence of Muscle Action on Heart Rate, RPE, and Affective Responses After Upper-Body Resistance Exercise” in the Journal of Strength and Conditioning Research, Vol. 23(2): 366-372. Elon exercise science alumni Elizabeth A. Chmelo, Jeffrey M. Morrison, Rachel E. DeWitt, and Christine M. Kostura were co-authors on this publication.
