Assistant Professor of Political Science and Policy Studies Aaron Sparks published research seeks to determine a better measure of environmental orientation

Model United Nations (MUN) at Elon is an academic club and a class, where students work together to simulate the United Nations Security Council on and off campus. Elon’s MUN is a student-administered club, with a faculty advisor overseeing its activities.

Baris Kesgin, assistant professor of political science and associate coordinator for the International and Global Studies Program, recently presented his ongoing research projects at the International Studies Association (ISA)-Midwest annual convention in St. Louis.  

Caitlin Wynn ’20, a political science major, recently presented her research on how the personalities of political leaders may help explain the way they react to corruption allegations at the International Studies Association-Midwest annual convention in St. Louis.

Ebru artist, Bingul Sevimli, recently offered a hands-on experience to Elon students, faculty and staff.

 

Organized by the International and Global Studies Program, the panel discussion focused on international events that have received little coverage by the media.

Two manuscripts on political leaders and foreign policy making by Baris Kesgin, assistant professor of political science, and his co-authors were recently published in the Journal of International Relations and Development and Political Psychology.
