Michelle Trim, a lecturer in the Department of English, gave the presentation, "Resisting Automatic Adoption and Uncritical Use of Technology in Student Research," at this past weekend's Georgia International Conference on Information Literacy in Savannah, Ga.

Michelle Trim published a chapter in the new anthology The 21st Century Motherhood Movement:
Mothers Speak Out on Why We Need to Change the World and How to Do It. Her chapter is titled, "Articulating a Rhetoric of Agency for Pregnancy Through Intersectionality: The National Advocates for Pregnant Women."

Michelle Trim presented a paper at the National Women's Studies Association conference in Atlanta, Ga, that was held Nov. 12-15.

Discusses the need to look beyond good intentions when using service learning to teach writing.
