Colleges against Cancer presents Paint the Campus Purple Week. There are events every day to raise awarnesss about Relay for Life and support the American Cancer Society.

The $5,000 grant will help student volunteers continue to provide 200-plus meals to community members each week through a collaborative relationship with Allied Churches of Alamance County and the Community Services Agency of Alamance County.

Led by Elon University sophomore Annie Segal, students volunteering for the Salvation Army collected more than $100 this fall while also gathering gifts through the nonprofit's Angel Tree and Stocking Stuffers programs.

LEADSTRONG Week is an opportunity to celebrate leadership at the university with a theme this year of "Spotlighting Change Agents at Elon." 

The Leadership Education and Development Program kicked off another year at the Sept. 6 event in McKinnon Hall with a keynote address by Kenn Gaither from the School of Communications.
