Elon University's Center for Leadership, in coordination with two community partners, hosted the Alamance Youth Leadership Academy from June 14-17, 2015, to encourage local children to make a difference in their schools.

A campus canned food drive on May 29, 2015, collected 2,274 pounds of food to benefit Allied Churches of Alamance County.

Elon's representatives presented information in April at the University of Georgia about their partnerships with the Loy Farm and Alamance County community agencies.
