The School of Communications professors examined advertisements and websites of U.S.-based industry trade groups representing the energy industries of coal and petroleum.

The School of Communications professor analyzed the communication processes of undocumented Latino immigrants in the United States when relatives get sick or die in their countries of origin.

The School of Communications graduate produced his documentary, “A House Without Snakes,” as part of the 2014-15 Fulbright-National Geographic Digital Storytelling Fellowship. The film hosted its world premiere in April at the Full Frame Documentary Film Festival in Durham, North Carolina.

Following his selection as one of three finalists, the Elon University graduate received $15,000 to produce a 30-second film that captures the emotions of the movie-going experience.
