Elon School of Health Sciences graduates were recognized for research, service and academic excellence.

Hall joined Elon as a faculty member in 2000 and was recognized with Elon University’s Excellence in Mentoring Award in 2010 and the Distinguished Scholar Award in 2016.

The 2021 School of Health Sciences commencement is the first joint ceremony between the Doctor of Physical Therapy and Physician Assistant Studies programs at Elon.

Students from the Doctor of Physical Therapy, Master of Physician Assistant Studies and Nursing programs, along with undergraduate engineering students, shared their research during the forum at McKinnon Hall inside Moseley Center.

Biology 1064: The Science of Life course, taught by Assistant Professor of Biology Jessica Merricks, worked closely with David Vandermast, associate professor of biology, and Ashlyn Crain '22 for their Lumen Prize research regarding carbon sequestering in trees.

Nine athletics programs earned a perfect 100 percent graduation success rate, while all programs boasted a 98 percent graduation success rate.

Over 2,400 luminaries and 50,000 lights illuminated the Historic Neighborhood, Under the Oaks and the Lambert Academic Village.

Public health and international & global studies double major Elrefa and with her mentor, Associate Professor Stephanie Baker, focus their Lumen Prize research on disparities among the Latinx community and reproductive health.

The pop-up shop will be held at Alumni Gym on Dec. 2 and will be presented by the Doherty Center and Elon Dining.

This year, 2,400 luminaries and more than 50,000 lights will be spread across the Historic Neighborhood, Under the Oaks and across Lambert Academic Village.
