Along with four other members of the Elon Research Seminar on Engaged Undergraduate Learning (ERS), Maggie Castor, a senior philosophy major, and Stephen Bloch-Schulman, an associate professor of philosophy, presented "Teaching Democratic Thinking" at the annual meeting of the Associate of American Colleges and Universities, January 26 in Washington D.C.

Bill Andrews, PT, EdD, NCS, an associate professor in the Department of Physical Therapy Education, has published an article in the current issue of the peer-reviewed journal Topics in Geriatric Rehabilitation.

Aunchalee Palmquist, an assistant professor in the Department of Sociology and Anthropology, is the lead author on a paper that will be published in an upcoming issue of the Journal of Immigrant and Minority Health (DOI 10.1007/S10903-011-9522-1, 11 Sept, epub ahead of print) .

Michael Rodriguez, assistant professor of marketing in the Martha and Spencer Love School of Business, recently had his research on customer relationship management and its impact on sales performance published.

Glenda Crawford, Professor of Education and Director of Teaching Fellows, published a book chapter, "Differentiation and Adolescent Learning", in Differentiated Instruction (2011), G. H. Gregory (Ed.), Corwin Press.

Physical therapy research posters were presented by Elon DPT faculty and alumni at the American Physical Therapy Association Combined Sections Meeting.

Megan Squire, associate professor of computing sciences, and David Williams '13 have published and presented work titled "Describing the Software Forge Ecosystem."

Jessica Gisclair, department chair in the School of Communications, presented, "How to Find a Work/Life Balance" at the Twenty-Ninth Annual Academic Chairpersons Conference, Orlando, Fla., Feb. 9-10.
