More than 40 first year Business Fellows had the opportunity to have a conversation with recent graduates who joined them at Elon University Charlotte, the university’s campus in the city’s thriving South End neighborhood.

Jeffrey Carpenter, professor of education and director of the Teaching Fellows program, Scott Morrison, associate professor of education, Dani Toma-Harrold '23 and their co-authors published the article in the journal Teaching and Teacher Education.

The work of Nolan Elingburg '11, G'12, Joe Bruno '14, Carly Thomas ’19 and Jack Norcross '21 was celebrated at the 38th annual Midsouth Emmy Awards ceremony held Feb. 17 in Nashville.

Mary Jo Festle, Maude Sharpe Powell Professor of History, and Ann Cahill, professor of philosophy and director of the National and International Fellowships Office, were celebrated on Tuesday, Feb. 20, as Elon University’s seventh and eighth Distinguished University Professors.

"The Fruit Cure" is a memoir and a critical look at fad diets and scam cures, and has been reviewed in the Washington Post and the Wall Street Journal. Alnes will read from the book in a March 13 appearance at Elon.

Since the early 1980s, Dusty Rhodes has been among Elon’s most generous and enthusiastic advocates.

Cook, a 2015 Elon graduate and 2018 graduate of the university's Interactive Media program, has found success as a graphic designer based in Durham.
