During the two-day trip, 29 students visited with communications professionals and Elon University alumni, receiving a behind-the-scenes look at the operations of several prominent organizations, including CNN, Jackson Spalding and the Atlanta Falcons.

Elon University students, faculty, staff and alumni are invited to follow the red brick road around campus for a signature Homecoming event.

The app, available for Apple or Android, offers up-to-date schedules, a campus map with zoom capabilities, information about on-campus resources, on- and off-campus dining locations and hours, driving directions, social media and more.

Elon alumni young and old will return to campus Nov. 2-4 for a homecoming celebration that will include music, sports, awards and fellowship. 

The program has seen continued growth and success in recent years, with Elon named as a top producer of Peace Corps volunteers by the service organization earlier this year. A fall kick-off celebration for the program will be held on Oct. 30.

The gathering for Elon alumni, parents and friends at the Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts shared in the announcement that Haya Ajjan has been selected as the first Sheldon and Christine Gordon Professor in Entrepreneurship. 

Trey Caldwell G’18 collaborated with Gardy Swengbe G’18 and Assistant Professor Doug Kass on separate video projects and both were screened at the metro Atlanta festival in October.

The Elon alumnus and documentary filmmaker was honored on Oct. 18 during the screenings of two documentaries he helped create.

The Elon community gathered Oct. 19 to commemorate and reflect on the inauguration of Connie Ledoux Book as Elon’s ninth president.

Alumni, representing every decade of Elon graduates dating back to the 1930s, participated in the inauguration ceremony held for President Connie Ledoux Book.
