As soccer’s popularity surges nationwide, so does the strength of Elon’s program. The result? The Phoenix has become a source of professional players who can succeed at the country’s highest level.

Former Elon men’s basketball two-time All-American Jesse Branson – the university’s all-time leading scorer with 2,241 career points - died Nov. 2, 2014. His #40 jersey was retired in 2009 and today hangs in Alumni Gym.

From raking leaves to painting front stoops, Elon University students and alumni on Saturday assisted Town of Elon residents with sprucing up homes built over the past two decades through Habitat for Humanity.

Phoenix athletes and coaches in seven sports won recognition this spring from the NCAA for their Academic Progress Rate scores.

Special Olympics of Alamance County, in partnership with Elon Volunteers!, hosted its annual Spring Games at Belk Track on May 2 with participation by hundreds of regional athletes.
