The Association for Business Communication presented the associate professor of English with two awards during its recent conference in New Orleans.

A childhood literacy initiative at Elon University will add a summer reading camp to its list of programs for boys and girls in the local community who encounter trouble learning to read.

The assistant professor in the School of Education has been selected by Phi Delta Kappa International as a part of its 2013-2014 cohort of Emerging Leaders.

The article, first published in the Journal of College Science Teaching in 2012, was a finalist in the 2013 Association of Educational Publishers Distinguished Achievement Awards. 

The assistant professor in the School of Communications was recognized with the "SuPRstar" honor for her teaching accomplishments and contributions to the public relations profession.

The $2,000 award supports a service-learning course involving sixth graders from Western Alamance Middle School.

The Executive Director of Elon's Cultural and Special Programs has been elected to the Board of Directors of the North Carolina Presenters Consortium.
