After screening her feature film, “The Limits of My World,” on campus, Cassano spoke with students in the elondocs production program and attended School of Communications classes.

The Elon alumna will receive the award on Thursday, Nov. 7, and screen her feature-length documentary, “The Limits of My World.”

On Tuesday, November 12 from 3:30-5:30 pm in McKinnon Hall representatives from non-profit organizations, rooted in domestic and international causes, will discuss internships, fellowships, post-graduate, and full-time employment opportunities with Elon students who are passionate about building careers making a difference in the world.

The career event helped over 75 students connect with employers to learn how to engage, prepare and succeed in the business world.

The Department of Finance and the Porter Family Professional Development Center hosted this career event aimed at educating students on opportunities within the wealth management industry.

Elon alumnae Nicole Friend ’15 and Brooke Muller ’19 visited campus on Oct. 29, meeting with three classes as well as Live Oak Communications students, and hosting an interactive workshop and informational session.

Robbins, who is president of Elon's Los Angeles alumni chapter, talked with students during her visit to campus Oct. 23-24 about the career opportunities a statistics degree can present and offered insights into obtaining internships in the field.

You get the job of your dreams, you accept your employer's offer...but how do you negotiate the salary? Ross Wade says that researching salaries in that field, costs of living and budgetary issues should be equal aspects of the interview preparation.
