Follow Gianna Carosella's remarkable journey from undergraduate student to aspiring attorney as she navigates the challenging terrain of law school admissions with the support of Elon University's Student Professional Development Center (SPDC).

A May swearing-in ceremony hosted by the Greensboro Bar Association inside the Old Guilford County Courthouse offered graduates a moment to celebrate and reflect on achieving their dreams of serving others as North Carolina attorneys. 

Twenty-five fellows received their medallions to wear at graduation and were celebrated by faculty, staff, family and friends.

Six members of the Class of 2024 participated in a signing ceremony on Wednesday to formalize their participation in the service-year program offered by Elon in partnership with local organizations. Six fellows who have completed their year of service were also recognized.

The new center for children will offer care and early childhood development for infants, toddlers and two-year-olds of Elon faculty, staff and students and will be managed by child care provider Vivvi.

Elon University seniors, Julia Lapporte, Erin Rohde and Emma Doherty, have successfully earned their SHRM Certified Professional credentials.

Four members of the Class of 2024 and one member of the Class of 2023 have been selected for the prestigious program that offers opportunities for recent graduates in more than 140 countries. Five have been selected as alternates.
