The Office of Sustainability will host numerous events throughout the week to bring awareness to and inspire sustainable behavior change throughout campus.

During summer 2023, the innovative program saw more than 40 Elon students working with a range of Alamance County businesses and organizations through university-funded internships.

Her work with the Special Olympics and the Kernodle Center for Civic Life has helped keep Elinski grounded, she says.

The grant will fund the Power and Place Collaborative's “Stories of Alamance County: Spaces of Faith and Spiritual Diversity" project and kicks off efforts with a county-wide dialogue.

Associate Dean and Professor Tony Weaver moderated the panel discussion following the official opening of the new Elon University in Charlotte.

The event is an opportunity to gather with family, friends, and neighbors to eat, drink, and listen to music with the Historic Depot as the backdrop. 

From painting hallways to spreading mulch, members of Elon Law’s Class of 2025 assisted local educators in August with preparing schools for the start of the academic year through the annual Elon Law Reaches Out service initiative for incoming students.

Several Elon faculty members will participate in one of three faculty development programs for 2023-24: the Community-Based Learning Scholars program, the Community-Based Learning Research Scholars program, and the Community-Based Learning Course Development Grants program.

Alternative Breaks are immersive service experiences designed to introduce students to new communities while working to address pressing domestic and global social issues.
