Voices of Discovery Science Speaker Series hosts the director of the Center for Environmental Farming Systems (Goldsboro, N.C.), in McCrary Theatre at 7 p.m.

Cultural and historical geographer Derek Alderman examines race, memory and heritage of the American South and how they shape current cultural landscapes. 

The Music Department and Music Production and Recording Arts program offer two days of events focused on the contributions of women in the current music and entertainment industry. 

The author will present from her recent book exploring intersections of racial justice, faith and black womanhood.
