On Saturday, March 8, members of the Elon University Percussion Ensemble will travel to the University of Chapel Hill to take part in the North Carolina chapter of the Percussive Arts Society's annual Day of Percussion.

Junior Ashley Edwards and Rodney Parks received the journalism award at the Southern Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Officers conference in Raleigh for their work on transgenderism in higher education.

The celebration will be held March 11 as part of the university’s Founders Day activities.
