At the annual Faculty/Staff Awards Luncheon on May 10, the Elon community honored faculty and staff members who are retiring this year.

Elon's faculty and staff raised more than $338,000 during the 2022-23 academic year for various philanthropic efforts at the university.

Division of Student Life members were honored at their annual celebration for leadership, contributions and successes on May 3.

The Assistant Dean and Director of the Kernodle Center for Civic Life was awarded the Campus Champion of the Year award by The Andrew Goodman Foundation.

The Global Neighborhood Spring Festival will be held Friday, April 21, 4 to 6 p.m. At the Faculty Forward booth, all faculty and students are invited to celebrate and honor part-time, and contingent professors.

This new Employee Resource Group connects international faculty and staff at Elon University, as well as other faculty and staff highly connected to international interests.

Elon’s interim director of Campus Recreation and Wellness was named as a recipient of the NIRSA Region II Horace Moody Award.

The Elon University Board of Trustees met on Feb. 24 and granted tenure and approved promotions for several faculty members.

The recognition by Diverse: Issues in Higher Education and ACPA-College Educators International is based on the university’s strong commitment to diversity in student affairs workplaces and staffing practices.

Presenters will share the methods and results of three alumni writing research projects and discuss the implications of the results for teaching writing across the curriculum.
