The Challenge has been one of Elon’s most successful fundraising efforts, bringing in 1,000 additional young alumni donors in three years.

Elon young alumni and seniors made the third and final IGNITE Challenge the most successful yet.

More than 700 young alumni have made gifts to the university and participated in the final IGNITE Challenge, which ends on March 31. Here's a sampling of what they said after making their gifts.

The goal? To surpass last year’s record-setting 60 percent participation by Elon employees.

More than 28,000 faculty and staff, alumni, parents and friends participated in Ever Elon: The Campaign for the Future of Our University, which concluded on Dec. 31, 2011, and raised $107.3 million to support the people, programs and facilities at our university.

Elon concludes the largest fundraising campaign in its history by celebrating the thousands of people who have invested in the university's future.
