Elon University School of Law and the Martha and Spencer Love School of Business at Elon University have established a four-year JD/MBA program. The JD/MBA program gives students the opportunity to earn both their juris doctor and master of business administration degrees in less time, and at a lower cost, than if both degrees were pursued separately. 

Volume 5, Issue 1 of the Elon Law Review examines the life, views and impacts of Albion Tourgée, the lead attorney for Homer Plessy in the historic United States Supreme Court case Plessy v. Ferguson (1896).

The forum included presentations by nationally prominent scholars and practitioners of immigration law, covering topics such as gender-based asylum and the impact on immigrants of the recent U.S. Supreme Court term. 

Elon Law hosted a Triad StartUp Lab forum on August 21 featuring presentations from Bioadhesive Alliance Inc., Blue Atom Technologies, Inc., CTASIT, GiftMaki, Qponsr LLC and Traverse Trainer.

The American Bar Association Standing Committee on Professionalism has recognized Elon University School of Law’s Leadership Program with the leading national award recognizing excellence in legal professionalism programming.

The Leadership Program at Elon University School of Law has been named a 2013 recipient of the American Bar Association’s E. Smythe Gambrell Professionalism Award. 

The entrepreneurial business support and cultivation program of the Piedmont Triad Partnership (PTP) will be located in Elon Law’s Center for Professional Development at 101 West Friendly Avenue in downtown Greensboro. 

For the fifth consecutive year, Elon Law students taught at public high schools through an innovative Street Law course offered in the spring semester. 

The former U.S. Attorney General said, “it is not even the end of the beginning” with regard to United States engagement with “Islamism.” 

Thirty-five teams of law students representing 24 law schools participated in the third annual Billings, Exum & Frye National Moot Court Competition at Elon University School of Law on April 5 and 6.
