Elon students win national finance/accounting contest

A team of four Elon University business school students won first place this month in a national case competition that measured the ability to interpret, analyze, evaluate, synthesize, and communicate a solution to a management accounting problem.

Martha and Spencer Love School of Business kicks off anniversary year

The announcement of two major gifts highlighted a 25th anniversary gala event for Elon University's Martha and Spencer Love School of Business. Students, faculty, staff and friends of the school gathered Feb. 5 to kick off a yearlong celebration of the school's founding in 1985. The gala featured the announcements of major gifts by Elon parent and trustee David Porter and the Martha and Spencer Love Foundation.

Art Cassill named Wesley R. Elingburg Professor in accounting

Art Cassill, a professor of accounting, has been named Elon University's first Wesley R. Elingburg Professor. Cassill was recognized during Fall Convocation on Oct. 23, where Elon trustee Wes Elingburg and his wife, Cathy, were in attendance for the presentation. It was their generous gift to the university that made possible the endowed professorship.

“Meet and Greet” links students with top firms
