For the Spanish major who graduates Saturday from Elon University, time spent this spring at Eastern Guilford High School will benefit students for years because of her initiative to support Spanish speakers in a school with few resources to help them better learn their native language.

Elon Phoenix baseball team captures share of SoCon Title

The Elon Phoenix secured a share of its fourth Southern Conference regular-season title, and third in four years, by rallying for four runs in the bottom of the eight for an 8-7 win over the visiting Furman Paladins on May 19. The win was the 11th for Elon in its final at bat this season.

Elon’s Bateman Team places in top three in nation

Elon University finished third in the nation in the 2011 Bateman Case Study Competition, a national contest established by the Public Relations Society of America to give university students an opportunity to exercise the analytical skills and judgment required for public relations problem solving.
