Elon junior Lindsey Jordan ’19, of Mooresville, North Carolina, shares her passion for helping others thanks to the life-changing impact of her Honors Fellows scholarship. This is the first in a series of videos highlighting the impact of endowed scholarships at Elon. 

The eighth annual gratitude event, held April 17, celebrated the impact of philanthropy on Elon’s campus.

The board was joined by President Connie Ledoux Book as they made the scholarship official at their annual spring meeting.

Elon students, faculty and staff will have the chance to show their appreciation to the university’s donors by writing thank-you cards during A Thousand Thanks, a campus-wide gratitude event taking place Tuesday, April 17.

The largest equipment gift in program history will take Elon’s nationally recognized program to the next level. 

Lashley served as associate women's basketball head coach from 1994 through 2005, when she died after a battle with cancer.

On March 13, donors made 5,370 gifts raising $1,840,378 to achieve the most successful Elon Day celebration to date.

The Thomas M. Smiddy ’88 and Sherri Smiddy Endowed Scholarship will support students who are active through Fraternity & Sorority Life, the Love School of Business or work-study.

A special College Coffee inside Alumni Gym on Tuesday morning energized the Elon community for its fifth #ElonDay effort.  

Belk and his wife, Carole Grotnes Belk, contributed to the growth of Elon’s campus and athletics facilities across four decades.
