After a major career shift, Chris Clews '92 has found his calling as an author and keynote speaker.

The Elon alumna wrote and directed “Incomplete” for her cinema & television arts BFA thesis project, and the film won Best Student Short at the monthly festival in Los Angeles.

Max Wallace ’26, Brendan Antrosiglio ’23, and a student group in the Interactive Media graduate program all earned second-place awards in the Broadcast Education Association’s 2024 Festival of Media Arts.

The Alumni Bridges Program is specifically designed for recent Elon graduates who are interested in moving to Charlotte, N.C., or Los Angeles to begin their careers. The program can help make the transition from college to career a smooth one.

Assistant Professors Kai Swanson and Matthew Blomberg led students to Hollywood and Park City, Utah, during Winter Term for an immersion experience into the film and entertainment industries.

Women in the Elon community participated in two days of networking, personal and professional development in an event highlighted by a fireside chat with Jackie Joyner-Kersee.

Joyner-Kersee, recognized as one of the top U.S. track and field athletes of all time, participated in a keynote discussion with President Connie Ledoux Book at the Women of Elon Weekend.

The global Elon community helped Ignite the Future for Students by raising more than $2.6 million during Elon Day 2024 on Thursday, March 7.

The longtime university registrar and recipient of the Elon Medallion retired in 2012 after a 34-year career at Elon.
