Intellectual property attorney Jack Hicks encouraged members of the Class of 2023 to use artificial intelligence throughout their legal careers to enrich and enhance human development as AI creates "permanent, widespread, and disruptive change across society at large."

Six accomplished graduates of Elon University have joined a group of prominent attorneys and business leaders who counsel the School of Law on opportunities for growing its academic programs and national reputation.

The Hon. Barron Thompson L’09, an Elon Law graduate who presides in North Carolina District Court, delivered a Convocation address to the Class of 2025 in which he reminded students that “we all owe something to those who came before us.”

The Distinguished and Top 10 Under 10 Alumni Award winners will be recognized at Alumni Awards Weekend, Friday, March 24 and Saturday, March 25.

Chief Justice Elizabeth "Beth" Walker of the Supreme Court of Appeals of West Virginia visited Greensboro accompanied by law clerks Evan Smith L’20 and Mary Beth Royal L’21, who both emphasized the importance of strong legal writing for securing judicial clerkships.
