The Essential Conversations in Healthcare workshop is celebrating its sixth year helping health care providers prepare for end-of-life conversations.

Elon's first-person consent donors make a profound and intentional choice to invite students to learn. These "silent teachers" have intentionally decided to continue teaching even in death.

Nursing, physician assistant and anatomy faculty members, along with anatomy teaching assistants came together to offer an engaged, interdisciplinary learning opportunity to nursing students utilizing the "silent teachers" in the Anatomical Gift Program.

Twenty-five health care professionals from across North Carolina convened at Elon for hands-on continuing education to benefit student scholarships

More than 160 families, friends, students and faculty filled the Sacred Space to honor the memory of 35 “silent teachers.”

March 24, 2023 learners from the accelerated bachelor's in nursing (ABSN), physical therapy (PT), and physician assistant (PA) programs gathered to hear the story of a local caregiver, problem-solve from their professional perspective, and role play essential conversations for caregivers of special needs children.

The Janet M. Cope Scholarship in Physical Therapy will go toward Elon Physical Therapy students who have displayed honorable character during their time in the program. 

The event was held for the fourth consecutive year in Moseley Center on Aug. 31.

Dr. Michelle Aurelius recently met with students in the School of Health Sciences to learn more about how the anatomical gift program supports health care education at Elon.
