The two-story expansion of Carol Grotnes Belk Library opened this year and is home to the university's Academic Advising, Learning Assistance and Disability Resources programs.  

Randall Bowman, archivist and assistant librarian, has been recognized for his expertise and experience with the historical preservation of archival materials.

 

Joan Ruelle, dean of the Carol Grotnes Belk Library, published “Appreciative Inquiry and Shared Values: A Case Study” in the September 2018 issue of the Journal of New Librarianship. 

 

The Morris-Miller Endowment for Learning will ensure the new Koenigsberger Learning Center has the most up-to-date assistive learning technology into the future.

The group described the procedure and results for a collaborative assessment of first-year writing students' source use during a panel at the International Writing Across the Curriculum Conference at Auburn University in June.

Elon faculty members led a variety of workshops for local K-12 teachers on Wednesday, June 13, designed to help them integrate unique science, technology and mathematics concepts in their classes. 

Staff members lead workshops at the Joyner Library Paraprofessional Conference held at Eastern Carolina University on May 11, 2018.

 

Library staff presented and helped plan the Triad Academic Library Association (TALA) 5th Annual Paraprofessional Conference held at North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University on May 16, 2018.

 

Now part of the School of Communications, the Iris Holt McEwen Building once served as the home of Elon’s library.
