Student videos promote Belk Library resources

Elon University students created a series of short YouTube videos this year that share with their classmates the resources available in Belk Library, how to use those resources, and ways that the library can serve as a source of leisure.

President Emeritus J. Earl Danieley to be honored on Founders Day 2010

March 4, 2010

J. Earl Danieley, who served as president of Elon from 1957-1973 and remains a fixture of the community, will be recognized as part of the annual Founders Day celebrations. The events include a special College Coffee on March 9, a Whitley Auditorium College Chapel service on March 11 and, later that evening, a fireside chat in Whitley Auditorium where Danieley will answer questions collected in advance from students by the Student Government Association.

Events mark Belk Library’s 10th anniversary

Belk Library celebrates its 10th anniversary this week with a series of events and prizes for visitors, including nightly refreshments through Thursday and a special College Coffee with birthday cake and other celebration materials.

Elon books headed to University of Ghana library

About 2,500 books donated by Elon students faculty and staff are headed to the library at the University of Ghana. The book drive was coordinated by Brian Digre, professor of history and leader of Elon's Ghana Winter Term program.

Phi Psi Cli yearbook archive hits cyberspace

Elon University’s entire collection of yearbooks, from Phi Psi Cli’s debut in 1913 through its 2009 edition, is now available to view online with search functions that allow users to locate specific names and organizations in a given year.
