The new system supported by the technologies of Rave Mobile Safety will include improved communications capabilities and the new Rave Guardian personal safety app.

A section of East Haggard Avenue that runs through campus will be closed from 3 to 10 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 5.

Vice President for Student Life Jon Dooley shared information on Tuesday, Oct. 12, about operations and safety on campus during Fall Break, which runs from the conclusion of evening classes on Wednesday, Oct. 13, through Sunday, Oct. 17.

During a panel discussion on April 28, Elon faculty and staff from the university and the school of law discussed the significance of the conviction of former police officer Derek Chauvin in the killing of George Floyd last year.

The panel discussion, scheduled for April 28 at 7 p.m., will be hosted live on Zoom and moderated by Damion Blake, assistant professor of political science and policy studies.

LeMire, a law enforcement veteran with more than 28 years of experience, will join the university on March 29, 2021.

Find in this note communications from the university regarding a report of an off-campus shooting at 9:45 a.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 5, being investigated by the Town of Elon Police.

The Inn at Elon opened to the public this month and with its completion, parking restrictions are now in place.
