The Center for Engaged Learning (CEL) invites applications from current Elon University first-year students for the CEL Student Scholar program, a three-year, mentored opportunity for students to collaborate with Elon University faculty and staff on CEL’s international, multi-institutional research on specific engaged learning topics. CEL Student Scholars receive up to $5,000 in stipends annually to support their active participation in the project.

Caroline Ketcham, Professor of Exercise Science, has been selected as the 2021-2023 Center for Engaged Learning (CEL) Scholar.

Despite being unable to meet on campus at Elon for their third summer meeting, participants from the Capstone Experiences Research Seminar are continuing their work remotely the week of June 21-26.

On July 1, Elon University will become the host site for the national initiative that is focused on transforming undergraduate education.
