Michael Carignan, associate professor of History, has been named the Center for Engaged Learning Senior Scholar for the 2019-2020 academic year.

Phillip Motley, associate professor of communications, was selected as the 2019-21 CEL Scholar to support his exploration of immersive learning as a high-impact practice.

The grant will fund a study looking at the interaction between a student's characteristics and the experiences they have while studying abroad.
