The Center for the Advancement of Teaching and Learning announces the recipients of Fall Teaching and Learning Grants.

Three Elon faculty members affiliated with the Center for the Advancement of Teaching and Learning presented at the 41st annual conference of the POD Network in Higher Education held Nov. 9-13 in Louisville, Kentucky.

Windham will work on turning SOTL research into classroom practice around teaching literacy, resulting in work that will be relevant to multiple languages. 

These faculty scholars will be provided with relevant sustainability resources and pedagogies through a variety of unique opportunities such as speakers, workshops, field trips, and article or book discussions.

Deandra Little is a professor of English and the director of the Center for Advancement of Teaching and Learning.

Amy Overman, associate professor of psychology, a faculty member in the neuroscience program and an associate director of the Center for the Advancement of Teaching and Learning, and Alison Richard '16 conducted empirical research on memory that was recently published in a prestigious scientific journal.

The annual conference, which is a scholarly venue to disseminate new knowledge on service-learning and community engagement, was held Sept. 26-28 in New Orleans.

The Center for Advancement of Teaching and Learning and Writing Across the University presents a guest workshop by Deb Reisinger & Jennifer Ahern-Dodson.

The 13th annual Teaching and Learning Conference at Elon University held Aug. 18 at Koury Business Center was jointly sponsored by the Center for the Advancement of Teaching and Learning and Teaching and Learning Technologies.
