Elon University welcomes area university and college educators to the 10th Annual Teaching and Learning Conference, jointly sponsored by Elon’s Center for the Advancement of Teaching and Learning (CATL) and Teaching and Learning Technologies (TLT).

College writing faculty from around the globe are visiting campus for a June 25-26 program organized by the 2011-2013 Elon University Research Seminar on “Critical Transitions: Writing and the Question of Transfer.”

Self-Paced Online Course

Discover new ways to navigate the world around you with Google Maps and Google Earth. Improve your use of new and existing features of Google's mapping tools. Choose your own path. Complete a project using Google Maps, Google Earth, or both, and earn a certificate of completion.

July 15 - August 9

This self-paced, online series will guide you through the different elements of and approaches to flipping, including how to create out-of-class content, how to assess student learning of that content, and how to help students apply that knowledge in the classroom.

Peter Felten, executive director of Elon University’s Center for Engaged Learning, co-authored a guide for colleagues at any college to build stronger relationships.
