Sustainability Faculty Scholars Program – Call for Applications

The Sustainability Faculty Scholars Program is seeking applicants for the 2011 program, to begin at the start of the spring semester. The Sustainability Faculty Scholars Program will identify, support and recognize faculty who are interested in incorporating or enhancing a focus on sustainable principles and practices in their courses, and exploring a range of pedagogies to develop this theme.
Felten delivers presidential address

Peter Felten delivered the presidential address at the 35th annual POD Network conference in St. Louis on November 4. Felten’s address explored how current pressures in higher education are changing teaching, learning, and the roles of teaching centers.

The CATL Teaching and Learning Grants program supports innovative teaching and learning projects. We had a record number of applications this year and were able to fund approximately 50 percent of the requests.
CATL Scholars selected for 2011-2013

The Center for the Advancement of Teaching and Learning has named Elon University faculty members Michelle Trim, David Neville and Ketevan Kupatadze as CATL Scholars for 2011-2013. The selection process was highly competitive, with 10 faculty applying for the three positions.
