The Celebrate the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning Showcase is scheduled for Monday, April 28.

The Center For Writing Excellence’s annual Multimodal Writing Contest was created to celebrate the innovative multimodal writing students are producing across the university.

Writing Across the University will host several faculty and staff professional development workshops in the spring 2025 semester. Participants can register for multiple events in one form.

Opportunities for faculty and staff within the Center for Writing Excellence are coming up, including the Excellence Writing Pedagogy Summer Institute and the deadline for the Disciplinary Writing Consultant Program.

Savannah Stinson L'25 took home the top prize for students on October 22, 2024, with her original work, "Black Like Me," which won praise from judges and the audience alike in the 6th Annual “High Rhymes & Misdemeanors” Poetry Slam.

All members of the Elon community are invited to this engaging presentation on Wednesday, Sept. 18, at 7 p.m. in McKinnon Hall.

Several of the workshops are centered around navigating writing in the age of artificial intelligence.

The online writing boot camps are held via Zoom and participants are welcome to attend for any amount of time.

In collaboration with researchers from Penn State University, the assistant professor of communication design investigated if users consider ChatGPT as trustworthy as other online information sources, such as Google and Wikipedia.
