The Center for Writing Excellence is offering two Writing Boot Camps over the 2016 Winter Term: Jan. 16 & Jan. 20.

A team visit to the Central American nation last spring inspired "Costa Rica Through the Lens: Reflections From Elon University Women’s Soccer" with contributions from players, coaches and staff.

Co-authored by Elon University's Laura Roselle, "Strategic Narratives: Communication Power and the New World Order" received the 2016 International Communication Book Award for having made "the most substantial impact in the area of international communication in the context of international studies."

Janet MacFall and Steve Moore in the Department of Environmental Studies co-authored a publication that introduces students to the most current techniques for conducting field research.

"Sharing the Burden: Rabbi Simhah Zissel Ziv and the Path of Musar" by Assistant Professor Geoffrey Claussen recounts the life of a 19th century Jewish leader who greatly influenced a movement focused on the development of human character.
