An introduction to the Charlotte Center for the Elon community

Local alumni have a special opportunity to help spread the word about Elon’s new regional center located in South End.

Twelve students are enrolled in the new Elon in Charlotte Regional Center this fall, participating in the university’s sport management immersive semester and gaining real-world experience with the Atlantic Coast Conference, NASCAR, Fox Sports and other Charlotte-based organizations.

Elon alumnus Erik Kendall ’11 and Assistant Professor Max Negin received a regional Emmy Award last year for their work with the Charlotte Hornets – and have already garnered another Emmy nomination this winter.

Alumni, parents and friends in eight regions around the country participated in a series of virtual university updates this spring. Now, a version of the update is available on demand to the entire Elon community.
