The Center for the Advancement of Teaching & Learning announces the recipients of the Fall 2014 Teaching and Learning Grants.

Alexander Bruch ’14 sought feedback from chemistry professors & staff in the Student Professional Development Center as he applied to graduate schools, including Yale University, for a doctorate in electrical engineering.

Daniel Herr, a researcher at the N.C. A&T State University and UNC Greensboro Joint School of Nanoscience and Nanotechnology, visited campus on Sept. 15 as the first guest this fall of the Voices of Discovery Science Speaker Series.

The assistant professor of physics presented "An optical biosensor for point-of-care medical diagnostics" at the 24th Anniversary World Congress on Biosensors held May 27-30, 2014, in Melbourne, Australia.

Assistant Professor Vickie Moore traveled to San Diego in April 2014 to present at the annual meeting of the American Society of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology.
