Current students, alumni and faculty gathered on Nov. 1 during Homecoming & Reunion Weekend to toast five decades of informing Elon’s campus community.

School of Communications faculty and staff members, as well as upperclassmen, gathered Oct. 21 to educate first-year students about the school’s academic programs, resources and opportunities.

School of Communications students participated in a pre-game panel discussion and TV production truck tour leading up to the NHL team’s Oct. 15 home game with the New Jersey Devils.

Creating an audience following, managing TV fame and balancing career success as a young actor were explored with actor Michael Fishman in Elon LA's Entertainment PR class.

The indie film powerhouse and co-founder of the Slamdance Film Festival has directed several critically acclaimed films, including “18½,” a 1970s Watergate thriller that will be screened at 7 p.m. in Turner Theatre.

During its Sept. 23 interest meeting, student leaders and advisers discussed Unity’s mission to celebrate diversity and advance inclusion across the communications and sport management industries.

The associate professor of cinema and television arts was one of nearly 400 attendees at the 2024 Vision Africa Media Institute in Umuahia.

Current Elon students offer words of wisdom to the Class of 2028, which arrives on campus on Friday, Aug. 23.

With support from a $8,500 scholarship, the cinema and television arts BFA major will continue their academic pursuits at one of the world’s top film schools.
