This year, Election Day is on Tuesday, Nov. 8. The Elon Political Engagement Work Group and Elon Votes! have worked with the Alamance County Board of Elections to create the following information on voting locations, what you need to bring to the polls, and Elon shuttle transportation to precincts,

Students can participate in one-stop early voting from Oct. 20 through Nov. 5. Those not previously registered can register and vote in one trip.

The Oct. 12 program at Elon University in the Danieley Center Neighborhood will feature an all-star cast of musicians performing songs that have been censored or banned, or that call for social change. 

The assistant dean for campus life and director of residence life authored a chapter on ontological inquiry and democratic practices for "Un-Democratic Acts: New Departures for Dialogue in Society and Schools."

Hundreds of students gathered in Moseley Center on Sept. 26 to watch the first debate between Democrat Hillary Clinton and Republican Donald Trump. 

Elon University's first presidential debate watch event proved to be a bigger draw than organizers had anticipated. 

The discussion, "Columbus, Tulsa and Charlotte: What's Next?," was held in the McBridge Gathering Space in the Numen Lumen Pavilion.
