Elon is engaging the campus community in meaningful conversations before and after the 2020 presidential election through a series of scheduled events.

The road through the center of Elon's campus will be closed from 9 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 3, through 7 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 5.

The Elon graduate, who works as a producer and director for Rocky Mountain PBS, teamed with fellow Elon alumni to create a public service announcement that provides a "symbolic journey through America's history of voting rights."

The university is planning a number of events and initiatives for the campus community to watch the results on Election Night and discuss the outcomes after all the votes are counted.

With the ongoing pandemic, voting looks a little different this year. Read how Elon Votes!, the nonpartisan campus initiative, is helping students get their ballots ready for the upcoming election season.

Elon is receiving national attention for its voter registration efforts, ranking in TurboVote’s top 10 colleges or universities in total registrations and percentage of registrations among undergraduates.

Elon students are invited to watch some of two town halls beginning at 8 p.m. on Thursday, October 15 that will feature President Donald Trump and former Vice President Joe Biden.

Elon students are invited to watch the October 7 vice-presidential debate with their roommate(s) in the form of tiny debate watch parties while wearing their masks and maintaining social distancing.

The university’s nonpartisan campus initiative to promote voting and civic engagement is hosting a series of debate watch parties, information sessions and other events to prepare students for the Nov. 3 election.
