The North Carolina Open Government Coalition invites applications for a part-time Director for the coalition and its Sunshine Center housed in the School of Communications at Elon University. The position also offers the possibility of a half-time teaching position, as described below. These two half-time positions would yield a full-time position with benefits.

Vanessa Bravo, assistant professor in the School of Communications, published the refereed research paper “Engaging the Diaspora: El Salvador and Costa Rica´s Use of Social Media to Connect with their Diaspora Communities in the United States” in the academic journal Global Media Journal – American Edition.
