Until last fall, the current Elon University sophomore figured an internship with The Barnum Museum in Connecticut was nothing more than “fantasy.” Then she visited Career Services.
David Copeland receives highest honor in field of American journalism history

David Copeland, A.J. Fletcher Professor in the School of Communications, received the Sidney Kobre Award for Lifetime Achievement in Journalism History from the American Journalism Historians Association during the organization's annual convention in Tucson, Ariz.

The Sports Broadcasting class in the School of Communications covered the Elon Phoenix home men's soccer match against the Wake Forest Demon Deacons Oct. 26. The event was seen live on ElonPhoenix.com via uStream, and it will be rebroadcast on Channel 14 on campus during the next week.
