Contest winners all move on to the national round of judging against students from 11 other regions.

Nearly two dozen Elon University students and a staff member were recognized for their leadership at a special virtual awards ceremony sponsored by Omicron Delta Kappa, a national leadership honor society.

Two Elon students who had been enrolled in the university’s study abroad program in Seville, Spain, are continuing to engage in international service virtually after their experience was cut short in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Steve Daniels and Lee Rainie, members of the School of Communications’ National Advisory Board, connected with graduating seniors via WebEx on April 23 to offer guidance on employment and today’s job market.

The virtual conference was held in cooperation with the World Health Organization and sponsored by the Iraqi Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and the University Al-Qadisiyah.

Morgan Collins ’20, with the guidance of Professor of Strategic Communications Barbara Miller Gaither, is conducting Lumen Prize research about outdoor retailer Patagonia, Inc., and its efforts to engage in environmental issues and policies.

The new site serves as a platform for students to share about their undergraduate research and what the experience has meant to them during a time when Elon has shifted to online learning.
