Commencement

Seniors, faculty and staff filled Lakeside Dining Hall on Wednesday for the annual Senior Picnic sponsored by the Office of Alumni Engagement and the Office of the Provost. 

A member of the Class of 2018 will be able to share this special day with her parents, neither of whom have been out of their home country before. 

 

The threat of rain midday means that the Senior picnic scheduled for today will be held in the Lakeside Dining Hall and second-floor Lakeside meeting rooms, with buffet lines in both locations. 

Elon's three Commencement ceremonies this week will be streamed live.

The stretch of East Haggard Avenue that runs through Elon's campus will close at 7 p.m. on May 18 and reopen at 9 p.m. on May 19.

With input from senior class officers, President-elect Connie Ledoux Book has selected Elon’s eighth president to address the Class of 2018 at the 128th undergraduate Commencement exercises on May 19.

The annual celebration honors outstanding fellows and scholars, providing them with the opportunity to share details of their work with their faculty members, peers and families prior to Commencement.
