Elon's 124th Commencement activities include picnics, receptions and more for graduates and their families.

The former tennis star visits campus on May 24, 2014, to share wisdom gleaned from a professional sports and broadcasting career that has included coverage of multiple Olympic Games.

The founder and president of Interfaith Youth Core makes a return visit to Elon University this spring with words of wisdom for graduating seniors and their parents during the Commencement week program.

The keynote speaker at Elon University’s 123rd Commencement exercises used humor and poignant stories from his work to remind the Class of 2013 about the value of time in a world where their leadership is needed.  

The Honorable Catherine C. Eagles, United States District Judge for the Middle District of North Carolina, delivered the Elon University School of Law commencement address on May 25 before 123 members of the Class of 2013.

Student leaders collected more than $46,000 this year from seniors, their parents, grandparents and friends through the Senior Class Giving Campaign. 

In a keynote address to students and their families, a top executive with one of North Carolina’s largest health care providers encourages students to “lead with honor” and be engaged.

The Rev. Joseph Parkes, founder of a college-preparatory school in Harlem, N.Y. for low-income students, encouraged graduates to help turnaround the lives of inner-city youngsters.

The one-hour school receptions allowed students to introduce parents to faculty mentors, laugh with friends and share their plans for life after tomorrow’s Commencement ceremony.

Surrounded by family, friends and Elon faculty and staff, 26 students in the Interactive Media Class of 2013 celebrated the completion of the program during a ceremony May 23.
