Elon's Center for Race, Ethnicity and Diversity Education has planned an exciting series of events to celebrate Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month.

As the university prepares to celebrate Asian heritage in April, a new effort is underway involving students, faculty and staff.

During two March 24 events, members of the Elon community gathered in person and online to discuss how hatred and violence toward Asian, Asian American and Pacific Islander people across the country.

Jason Collins, the first openly gay player in major league sports, is the keynote speaker for the 2nd Annual Men's Leadership for Gender Equity Conference - an event focused on engaging, empowering, and educating men about gender equity.

Elon students can apply for scholarships for 2021-22

The Center for Race, Ethnicity and Diversity Education’s 7th annual Black Solidarity Day Conference aimed to unite Black-identifying students, faculty and staff by exploring Black identity and intersectionality.

Faculty and community members spoke of the legacy of grief and terror spawned by ongoing racial inequity and violence. Elon University must address its past and accelerate change for justice and equality, they said.

"An Introduction to Afrofuturism in Rap" is part of the Rap, Race, Gender and Philosophy course. The program is also part of the Center for Race, Ethnicity and Diversity's Black History Month events around "Imagining a Black Future."
