Elon University’s Black History Month Steering Committee is recognizing physical plant workers, program assistants, and faculty & administrative staff members in a series of College Coffee presentations throughout February.

An opportunity for multicultural students and organizations to come together to discuss issues and events and network.

Space for black faculty and staff to come together and network.

The Multicultural Center will be taking interested students to Furman University to be a part of this conference.

Patricia J. Williams of Columbia Law School, who visited Elon this month to help commemorate the legacy of Martin Luther King Jr., spoke Thursday about crime, justice, "stand your ground" laws and why conversations about race in America still matter.

Students, faculty and staff honored Martin Luther King Jr.'s legacy on Jan. 17 by volunteering at the Habitat for Humanity ReStore in Burlington, N.C., and the Blakey Hall retirement home.

The commencement reception is hosted by the Office of Alumni Engagement, Elon Black Alumni Network and Elon's Multicultural Center.
