Six men representing law, education, medicine, ministry & the student perspective offered reflections Thursday about the challenges confronting African-American males in the United States.

Pulitzer Prize-winner Jose Antonio Vargas will speak at Elon University's Diversity and Leadership Conference about "coming out" as an undocumented immigrant in the New York Times Magazine and later on the cover of TIME magazine. 

Speakers, readings, service projects and a special College Coffee at Elon University are among the many programs that commemorate the legacy of the slain American civil rights leader.

The Elon WPE is looking for new members for the Spring of 2015.  No experience is required and it is open to any member of the student body.

Wednesday, Nov. 13 from 5-7 p.m., join us in the McBride Gathering Space in the Truitt Center for Religious and Spiritual Life. All are welcome to celebrate as Muslims break their fast in honor of Allah saving the Children of Israel and Moses from the oppression of Pharaoh.

The facility brought together dozens of Elon students, faculty and staff for its opening—something it aims to do routinely to foster community.

A new resource room in Moseley Center will serve as a place for the Elon community to engage intellectually and socially around gender and LGBTQIA topics.

Manuel Gomez visited Elon University on Oct. 1, 2013, for a program sponsored by the Center for the Advancement of Teaching & Learning and the Better Together Living Learning Community.

Elon students attended a conference in Winston-Salem, N.C., with a theme based on the bestselling book "Lean In" by Facebook COO Sheryl Sandberg.
