As part of its celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month, Elon is offering a virtual performance by the thrilling 11-piece ensemble.

The three-time #1 New York Times bestselling author joined Associate Professor of English Prudence Layne for a virtual discussion about antiracism broadcast live to the Elon community on Monday night.

The online event on Monday, Sept, 21, at 7:30 p.m will be moderated by Professor Prudence Layne and can be viewed at www.elon.edu/live.

The author of "Biased: Uncovering the Hidden Prejudice That Shapes What We See, Think, and Do," joined the Elon community for a live discussion of the university's Common Reading selection on Sept. 9.

Elon will welcome Eberhardt for a virtual presentation at 7:30 p.m. Elon students, faculty and staff as well as members of the public can view the event at www.elon.edu/live.

The performance will be streamed live with a limited number of tickets to attend in person available to students, faculty and staff.

An exciting list of performers, speakers and cultural events will engage the campus within new policies to keep the community safe this semester.

Originally scheduled for March 25 in Whitley Auditorium but canceled due to COVID-19 concerns, the Liberal Arts Forum Lecture by "Hamilton" star Bryan Terrell Clark is now available to all Elon audiences online.

Although many students, faculty and staff are away from campus to prevent the spread of COVID-19, the campus community still gathered to continue a long-standing Elon tradition on Tuesday.
